Tru Optik Expands Senior Team

In the US, TV audience measurement firm Tru Optik has appointed former IAB director Val Dietl Baronas as Senior Vice President of Client and Partner Development.

Val Dietl BaronasStamford, CT-based Tru Optik's platform enables users to deliver cross-screen targeting and attribution by combining census-level over-the-top (OTT) viewer data with third party demographic, lifestyle and purchase data. Dietl Baron (pictured) joins from the IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau), where she worked for the past two years; initially leading the committees for digital video, mobile video and programmatic video and latterly as Director of Multicultural. Prior to this, she worked for ad automation solutions company PubMatic as Director of Video, for TV and online ad targeting specialist Videology as Director Hispanic & LatAm Business Development, and for Microsoft as Sales Excellence & Strategy Manager.

In her new role, Dietl Baron will be responsible for helping Tru Optik scale its client list in the US, EMEA and LATAM, while leading a team tasked with building new partnerships and relationships with TV networks, publishers, demand-side platforms (DSPs) and supply side platforms (SSPs).CEO and co-founder Andre Swanston comments: 'Val has an outstanding record of working at some of the most successful tech companies in video and helping them expand into new markets.
