NBCUniversal Strengthens Measurement Solutions Team

In New York, media giant NBCUniversal has hired Pankaj Kumar as SVP Measurement and Innovation, to create partnerships for its proprietary measurement solutions and give ad clients more tools analysing the reach and impact of their campaigns.

Pankaj KumarNBCU's Insights and Measurement division is part of the Business Operations and Strategy group, overseen by EVP Krishan Bhatia and itself part of the Advertising Sales and Client Partnerships division. Kumar (pictured) joins from sister company Comcast Cable, where he led the Media Sciences team. Before this, he was MD of advanced analytics consultancy Quantelligence, SVP of Marketing Effectiveness & ROI Analytics at Kantar brand strategy practice Millward Brown Optimor (later merged into the Vermeer unit and now part of Kantar Consulting). He also worked for IMS Health as Head of US Client Leadership & Analytics. In his new role, Kumar will help drive measurement transformation and enabling capabilities to demonstrate the efficacy of media across the sales division. He reports to Kavita Vazirani, EVP, Insights & Measurement.

Additionally, the firm has hired Ed Kozek as SVP, Advertising Technology and Brian Norris as SVP, Audience Studio Sales. Mike Rosen, EVP, Advanced Advertising and Platform Sales, comments: 'The addition of these leaders to our team demonstrates our commitment to innovation and to pushing the most important areas of our industry forward.
