ThinkAnalytics Names Leader for EMEA and AsiaPac

In the UK, personalised content and viewer insights provider ThinkAnalytics has hired Simon McGrath as Chief Operating Officer and SVP of the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.

Simon McGrathAs well as its flagship search and recommendations engine, which the firm says now serves more than two billion recommendations every day, ThinkAnalytics also offers a customer and video insight platform ThinkInsight, and a video analytics platform, ThinkBigData. McGrath (pictured) joins with 30 years' experience in the TV technology sector. Most recently, he was SVP of Strategy and Business Development at video creation and distribution company Deluxe Entertainment Services, prior to which he served as European MD of content distributor thePlatform (now Comcast Technology Solutions). Earlier, he was CMO and Commercial Director for Europe at video content delivery specialist SeaChange International, and Deputy CEO of multiplatform video services provider On Demand Group, before SeaChange acquired the business.

In his new role, McGrath joins recently appointed CEO Gabe Berger.
