QSR Update Integrates NVivo with IBM SPSS

Australian-based analysis software developer QSR International has updated its flagship qual research tool NVivo, which can now be integrated with IBM SPSS quant data analysis software to enhance mixed methods research.

QSR International was formally established in 1995, but a predecessor operation launched its first software product, NUD*IST, in 1981. NVivo is designed to help researchers organize, evaluate and find insights in unstructured / qual data such as interviews / open-ended survey responses, articles, social media and web content. NVivo 12 now integrates with IBM's MR software and predictive analytics solution SPSS. In addition, it offers more automated analysis options for faster analysis and coding of data; along with more customizable options and user controls. It also provides support to work with and analyze qual data from video, social media, OneNote and Evernote files.
