In Canada, research and strategic marketing firm Leger has acquired the one million strong teen and young adult panel from student and youth network yconic. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The buy will be integrated into the existing Legerweb panel, which currently has just over 400,000 members. Leger says this, its tenth acquisition, means it now owns the largest Canadian panel for polling and market research. Jon Kamin, MD of yconic, says Leger is the ideal partner to continue with the development and professional management of the panel.
