US cross-channel marketing software company Cheetah Digital has acquired cloud-based customer engagement, personalization and loyalty software firm Stellar Loyalty for an undisclosed sum.
Headquartered in Silicon Valley, with additional offices in Europe and Asia, Stellar Loyalty's big data architecture consumes millions of digital signals in real-time across mobile, e-mail, web, social media and point-of-sale systems. The platform's first-party data structure combines batch and streaming capabilities to ingest demographic, behavioral, transactional and contextual data and create 'a predictive set of consumer engagement opportunities'.
The integration of Stellar Loyalty's big data architecture with Cheetah Digital's Marketing Suite will put data management and cross-channel execution capabilities on a single platform. Co-founder Peter Lim (pictured) will continue to oversee Stellar's services, support, and product teams; serving as Cheetah Digital's SVP of Engineering, Innovation.
Sameer Kazi, Cheetah Digital CEO, comments: 'The combination of Stellar Loyalty products and their talented team will allow Cheetah Digital to offer our clients the most advanced and intuitive loyalty, customer acquisition and retention solution in the industry. The team at Stellar Loyalty share our passion for being dedicated to marketers and we are incredibly happy to welcome all of them'.
