Cello Health Adds Two Pharma Experts to Board

UK-based Cello Health has added pharmaceutical industry execs Clifford Tompsett and Jo LeCouilliard to its Board of Directors, replacing Paul Hamilton and Will David who have both stood down after more than a decade on the Board.

In March, consumer insight / marketing business Cello Group was renamed Cello Health Group plc, in a move which CEO Mark Scott said better reflects the strategic focus of the business. The group is made up of Communications, Consulting and Insight brands, with the latter's Cello Health Insight delivering business intelligence to the pharma and healthcare sectors.

Tompsett was until recently a Senior Partner at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, with responsibility for the firm's global cross border IPO practice. He spent a total of 38 years at the consultancy, and for a number of them led the firm's UK and European activities in the pharmaceutical sector. He will now head the Cello Health Board's Audit Committee and will also be the company's Senior Independent Director. LeCouilliard most recently worked at GlaxoSmithKline, in senior executive positions globally with roles in regions including the US and Asia. She has also held senior hospital management positions at BMI Healthcare, and is currently a non-executive Director of Circassia Pharmaceuticals.

Commenting on today's news, Scott said: 'Both Paul Hamilton and Will David have been non-executive directors of the company since its formation. I am delighted that the group has secured the services of two, highly experienced and capable new non-executive directors with deep experience across the pharmaceutical industry.
