SRAX CFO Steps Down, Firm Seeks HQ-Based Successor

In the US, digital marketing and consumer data management platform SRAX has announced that its remote-working Chief Financial Officer JP Hannan is stepping down. The firm is now looking for a successor who will be based at its headquarters in Los Angeles.

SRAX's machine-learning technology analyzes marketing data to identify brands and content owners' core consumers and their characteristics across marketing channels. The firm's verticals include SRAXshopper, SRAXauto, SRAXfan, and SRAX Social Management; and its BIGtoken offers a consumer data management and distribution blockchain platform. The company recently sold a majority stake in its healthcare and pharmaceutical ad targeting and data business SRAXmd for $52m.

Atlanta, Georgia-based Hannan (pictured) joined two years ago, having previously served as SVP, Treasurer and CFO at Cumulus Media; VP and CFO at Lincoln Financial Media; and CFO/COO at Lambert Media Group. He will continue to work for the company for an as yet to be determined transitional period, after which CEO Christopher Miglino will serve as Principal Financial and Accounting Officer until a replacement for Hannan has been found.

Commenting on the news, Miglino thanked Hannan for his service and wished him well in the future, adding: 'Over the past two years, JP has led the effort to implement cost controls, improve protocols and build a stronger accounting team while also assisting in the development of advertising verticals and our blockchain platform BIGtoken, which ultimately allowed us to list on NASDAQ. As we now move into our next phase of growth, JP and I both strongly agree that having the CFO role based at our headquarters versus working remotely will be critical for our future success'.
