nuaxia Upgrade Enhances Video Research Tools

Healthcare research and marketing services provider nuaxia has upgraded its technology platform, with new features including video analysis and sharing, behavioural economics features and API functionality.

3rd generation platform for nuaxianuaxia allows clients to conduct Live Video Interviews, Video Discussion Groups and Micro Engagements, as well as embedding Micro Videos into third party surveys. Two years after it was set up by former Synovate UK CEO Peter Chopra, the firm has reached the third generation of its platform.

A video interviewing service was launched in July 2017 giving clients access both to the firm's one million members and any other individual in its profiled healthcare database of 5.5 million people, including patients, physicians and other healthcare professionals. The firm is UK-based but also has a US office.

The latest version of the software adds an enterprise level system for storing and managing video data; AI-powered analysis functionality for fast, deep insights on visual information; an extended suite of behavioural economics capabilities including tone of voice and worx sentiment analysis to add to its facial coding capability; a suite of reporting and collaboration tools to support the sharing and engagement
in its video stories; and API functionality for easy integration of information into
and out of the platform.

Users can now recruit respondents through the firm's own HCP Membership and patients partnerships; conduct qual and quant video-based research; create customer story libraries; and provide automated analysis and reporting on video and traditional research data.

CEO Chopra says the new capabilities will also form the heart of a number of new specific service offerings in 2019. He comments: 'When we launched nuaxia, it was obvious that video based research would play a major role in how market research is conducted in the future. We, like the consumer video research specialists, have developed a full suite of video capture capabilities. However, no one seems to have properly realised the potential of this form of research yet. Our approach has been to focus on the analysis and reporting of visual data and our third generation platform has been developed to create an industry leading approach in this area'.
