Supermetrics Launches Reporting Tool for Excel

Marketing analytics company Supermetrics has launched a tool which uses Excel to automate reports and dashboards, pulling in data from more than 50 marketing platforms and ad networks to produce visualizations.

Supermetrics boasts more than 400,000 users in over 120 countries, and just over a year ago closed a EUR 3.5m funding round led by OpenOcean Capital. The firm says by fully automating long and repetitive tasks, its new solution 'can save businesses hundreds of hours of tedious manual work every year, eliminate human error, and make better decisions in real-time'.

CEO Mikael Thuneberg comments: 'Following the success of Supermetrics for Google Sheets, we wanted to give the vast majority of companies who use business productivity tools from Microsoft the same great features and functionality we offered with our flagship product. There's definite demand in the market for our product as 485 companies listed in the S&P 500 use Microsoft's business tools'. However he also stresses that the solution is aimed at 'companies of all sizes'.
