SurveyMonkey Names New CFO

June 4 2019

In the US, DIY research software company SurveyMonkey has hired former Autodesk exec Debbie Clifford as Chief Financial Officer, replacing Timothy Maly who resigned in February.

Debbie CliffordClifford (pictured), who will join on July 8th, has nearly two decades' operational finance experience. She spent the past thirteen years in finance positions at design software company Autodesk, most recently as VP of Financial Planning and Analysis, having previously been involved in acquisitions and investor relations. Prior to Autodesk, she worked at Virage and Ernst & Young.

In her new role, Clifford takes over from Maly, who oversaw the company's finances and operations for exactly a decade, having served as both CFO and COO since May 2009.

Commenting on Clifford's appointment, CEO Zander Lurie said: 'Debbie is a highly respected finance executive whose leadership and operational rigor will be critical as we accelerate our enterprise and international expansion efforts. As one of the key architects of Autodesk's SaaS transformation, Debbie's experience and skillset will complement our seasoned executive team as we deepen our relationships with thousands of enterprise customers with new products and growth strategies'.
