Validity Buys B2B Customer Data Specialist AppBuddy

In the US, customer data quality assurance company Validity has acquired AppBuddy, which helps users integrate any data from the cloud to manage the entire B2B customer lifecycle in one view. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Marc Aubin and Mark BriggsAppBuddy offers customer relationship management (CRM) and business process software to help enterprise companies increase sales productivity and deliver 'excellent customer support', along with a consistent customer experience delivery throughout the entire customer lifecycle. The platform has been designed to make it easy to configure grids and charts to present users with a single view to manage all of the data they need on one screen, with only the fields and records that are relevant for the task at hand.

Marc Aubin, CEO and co-founder, AppBuddy, says that as part of Validity, AppBuddy will 'transform' how businesses use data to find and connect with customers. Mark Briggs, CEO of Validity, adds: 'Poor data quality is a barrier to growth, and yet, one of the key contributors to poor data quality is the underlying CRM user experience. AppBuddy makes it far easier to interact with customer data, resulting in faster follow-up of marketing leads, more accurate sales forecasts, and an overall increase in CRM adoption.'
