HFS Research Buys Quigley Media

Analyst firm HFS Research, which serves clients in technology and business operations, has acquired digital marketing agency Quigley Media, whose founder Tom Quigley become HFS' Chief Marketing Officer.

Tom QuigleyHFS says the buy will boost its capabilities in influencing global enterprises to be more competitive in the age of disruption, with the rise of innovations including automation, artificial intelligence, blockchain, digital business models and smart analytics.

As CMO, Quigley will have a global remit to expand the HFS Research brand and influence across key industries. His experience of marketing in the technology and services industry includes spells at Capita and Prudential.

HFS CEO and Chief Analyst Phil Fersht comments: 'This digital marketing acquisition significantly enhances our ability to influence key markets. We founded HFS as a disruptive analyst firm to exploit social media and digital channels and adding Quigley Media to the fold puts up in great shape to lead the next wave of analyst services'. According to Quigley, HFS will now be 'bringing to the market a broader proposition of connected offerings and knowledge of the underlying technology, governance and operations needed to build meaningful connections with customers'.
