Hearts & Science Names Chief Investment Officer

In Sydney, Australia, data-driven marketing agency network Hearts & Science has promoted Luke Hutchinson to the role of Chief Investment Officer.

Launched by media services division Omnicom Media Group (OMG) in 2016, Hearts & Science helps clients with personalized digital marketing, through a combination of CRM and addressable channels, and real-time insights and targeting. Hutchinson (pictured) joined Omnicom two and a half years ago as Head of Trading at m2m, which later became Hearts & Science. Earlier he was Head of Investment at The Media Store; Sydney Investment Director at MediaVest Group; and Investment Manager at OMD in Sydney.

In his new role, Hutchinson is responsible for investment nationally, with a remit to evolve the firm's 'audience first, data-led investment' approach. He will report to CEO Jeremy Bold, who praises his 'integrity and pragmatic approach', and comments: 'Luke is one of the best in the business and I am thrilled to announce this well-deserved promotion'.
