Kids Insights Launches in India

Manchester-based kids, tweens and teens specialist Kids Insights has launched its first Asia Pacific business, Kids Insights India.

Nick RichardsonThe firm now surveys more than 2,000 children every week, across 3 continents and 7 countries. In July 2018 it made its debut in the USA, and in March this year it added France, Germany, Italy and Spain, where it will survey a total of 42,600 children aged three to eighteen each year.

Kids Insights started collecting data in India on the 1st June, and will survey 410 children there each week - 21,000 in a year - to provide clients with real-time market intelligence on their attitudes, behaviours and consumption. The first set of reports will be issued and a real-time portal launched later this month.

CEO Nick Richardson (pictured) comments: 'We are delighted to be continuing our global expansion. The launch into India is particularly exciting as it is a market that is going through a phenomenal transformation and digitalisation'.

The company has partnered for the launch with Asia Pacific kids digital media company TotallyAwesome, which reaches more than 170m children in the region each month across desktop, mobile and online video. Kunal Mukherjee, Country Director of TotallyAwesome comments: 'There is no doubt that the kid's ecosystem in India is changing at a phenomenal pace and therefore having access to reliable and real-time market intelligence has never been more important'.
