Restaurant Review Platform Zagat Re-launches LA Survey

February 21 2020

Restaurant review platform Zagat has re-launched its survey in Los Angeles, allowing consumers to share their opinions and insights about their favorite places to dine.

Chris StangZagat was acquired from Google in 2018 by restaurant discovery platform The Infatuation, which creates and delivers restaurant reviews and guides through its web and social media presence, mobile apps, e-mail newsletter, and SMS-based recommendation platform. Zagat, which was founded in 1979 by Tim and Nina Zagat, provides restaurant reviews based on the experiences of millions of consumers.

From now until March 17th, survey participants who have eaten at LA-area restaurants over the past year can rate and review any open and operating dining establishment across the county. The survey focuses on ratings for food, service and décor, and allows for additional information, insights, and user commentary. Results will be included in Zagat's new user-generated, digital restaurant review platform, which is due to launch later this year.

Chris Stang (pictured), CEO, Zagat, comments: 'We couldn't be more excited to bring the Zagat survey back to Los Angeles. We feel it imperative to cover this great city and its vibrant restaurant scene early in our relaunch process. Los Angeles is home to a vast number of incredible restaurants, and we're excited for savvy diners around the city to contribute their knowledge to help other diners make good decisions'.
