Xtremepush Buys Developer Alchemetrics

Irish customer engagement, personalisation and data platform Xtremepush has acquired Reading, UK-based customer insight platform developer Alchemetrics, for an undisclosed sum.

Alchemetrics' team of industry experts includes strategists, data scientists, technologists, analysts, designers and campaigners. The firm builds, hosts and manages bespoke platforms that connect businesses to individual customers using big data techniques and technologies, and offering clients an open API for collecting and connecting data from anywhere across the organisation.

With the acquisition, Alchemetrics will continue to operate from its UK base, while working with its team of developers in Vilnius, Lithuania; and the company's services will now be available as part of the Xtremepush platform and offered as a standalone product. All existing Alchemetrics staff, including CEO Dave Gurney, will be retained.
