New Investment for Analytics Firm AppTweak

April 6 2021

Data science-powered app store optimization platform AppTweak has raised $22m in a Series B round of funding, which it will use to expand its global presence, especially in the APAC and EMEA regions, develop its platform, and diversify its advisory services.

Olivier VerdinHeadquartered in Brussels, the firm helps developers including Amazon, Jam City, Yelp and Adobe to develop their mobile apps and games through a simple interface. Its software collects and analyses listings in the 'similar apps' section of every app page, then uses data science to analyze this data. This is used to find insights and track KPIs such as 'estimated views', to help understand how many impressions an app receives from appearing on other app pages in the section.

New funding comes from existing investor Media Group Rossel, adding to the previous $1m in seed funding raised in 2014/2015. This latest investment will be used to expand the company's offices in San Francisco, Brussels, Tokyo and Bengaluru; to launch several new locations in the APAC and EMEA regions during the next three years; to expand the platform; and to add new members to the team.

Co-founder and CEO Olivier Verdin (pictured) comments: 'This investment is a milestone for AppTweak. We are ready to accelerate our global growth and expand our services. We can't wait to start this journey with Rossel, which has supported us since our beginnings'.
