Catalina Names HR Leaders in US and Japan

Shopper intelligence specialist Catalina has appointed Joy Linsday and Kanako Takano to oversee its Human Resources (HR) in the US and Japan, respectively.

Joy Linsday and Kanako TakanoCatalina, which has operations in the US, Costa Rica, Europe and Japan, uses its real-time shopper database to help CPG brands, retailers and agencies optimize every stage of media planning, execution and measurement. Linsday joins as Senior Vice President of People & Culture, overseeing HR worldwide, with a primary focus on the US; and she has also been appointed as a member of the company's Executive Leadership Team. She was previously SVP of Human Resources at healthcare tech company Zelis Payments, before which, she was Senior HR executive for manufacturing company Liberty Diversified International, and she led HR in the hospitality, healthcare and financial services industries with Carlson Companies, UnitedHealth Group and Ameriprise Financial, respectively. She is now tasked with creating people and culture strategies.

Takano has joined Catalina Japan as Chief Administrative Officer, with responsibility for HR, Operations, and Vendor Management, having most recently served as Director of Japan APAC Service & Operations & Lodging for Expedia Holdings, with previous roles at companies such as Persol Holdings, Adecco, MetLife, Yahoo!, AOL and American Express. She now reports directly to Brett Wayn, President & CEO of Catalina Japan.
