Singapore Agency Joins Harris Network

June 17 2004

MarketShare, a full-service MR agency in Singapore, has become the newest member of the Harris Interactive Global Network.

MarketShare is an independent firm working with clients across the world to understand, invest and profit from market opportunities in Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

The Network was established in 1992 and current members represent Africa, Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, Eastern and Western Europe, Central/North/South America, and the Middle East. Member firms exchange research expertise and provide the resourcefulness of local-country knowledge, but remain wholly independent firms. The addition of MarketShare will greatly strengthen Harris' presence in Southeast Asia, according to Humphrey Taylor, network founder and chairman of the Harris Poll.

Ali Mirza, Executive Director of MarketShare, says that being affiliated with Harris Interactive provides an opportunity to give customers cost-effective and real-time market research solutions by way of Internet-based polling. 'This is where the industry is heading and we are proud to tie up with the world-leader in this field'. Co-founder Anthony Venus adds: 'The Harris Interactive relationship will further strengthen our product offerings in the area of reputation measurement, and will assist MarketShare's Singapore-based clients' global expansion plans with instant access to Harris Interactive's North American and European market research network'.

The online home of the Network is at www.harrisinteractive.com/international/globalnet.asp
