ESA Continues Growth

April 25 2005

UK retail and trade research specialist ESA has announced turnover growth of 8% in its 25th anniversary year, 2004. Although well below the 35% achieved in 2003, when it was the fastest growing large research agency in the UK, the 2004 figure is still well above the industry average.

The company's price collection services have seen particular growth - ESA says it is the UK's leading price collection agency, with over 200,000 prices now collected every week. Other areas continuing to perform well are mystery shopping, customer satisfaction & insight and in-store compliance & availability.

CEO Tony Keen says that after 25 years 'The challenge for any growing business is to continue to offer the same high level of service as it increases in size - that many of our clients continue to return to ESA is testament to the fact we have achieved this'. The retention of key clients including Total UK, Iceland and Argos has been one factor, and the addition of others like Blue Inc, BP Safeway and Castrol another.

ESA employs more than 65 people at its head office in St Albans. It is online at www.esa.co.uk
