Zouzou to Lead Nielsen's European In-Store March

Denmark-based Anis Panduro Zouzou has been appointed Nielsen's European In-Store Manager, charged with leading the roll-out of its In-Store initiative across Europe.

Using infrared sensors positioned in and around a store, the service measures consumer traffic and exposure to in-store marketing. It was launched in the US last December and expanded in May to encompass all forms of merchandising activity (www.mrweb.com/drno/news6756.htm ).

Since joining Nielsen, Zouzou has served in a number of roles, including as Segment Director, Senior Client Team Manager and as Manager, FMCG Client Service. He previously worked in sales and marketing positions at Siemens and Philips. He holds both a BSc and an MSc degree in Economics & Business Administration from the Copenhagen Business School.

In his new position, Zouzou will report directly to George Wishart, Global MD of Nielsen In-Store, with a European reporting line to Johan Sjöstrand, Chief Retailer Services Officer of ACNielsen Europe. He will work alongside each country management team and his remit will include the planning and execution of the roll-out and management of research for an In-Store Metric initiative in Europe.
