Online Analysis Tool for SMEs Launched

In the UK, B2B data provider Market Location is launching a simplified version of its Horizon multi-level online data analysis tool, to enable SMEs (small and medium enterprises) to analyse and interrogate their own data more cheaply and easily.

Unlike the original tool, which the firm says offers 'differing levels of sophistication', the new Horizon Lite focuses on giving SMEs the ability to compare their existing customer base with the Market Location Database (MLDB), to determine business penetration levels and deliver insights.

The online system provides instant access to features such as customised graphs and charts of key company data, as well as single and bi-variant penetration and profiling analyses. All reports are exportable into PDF and Excel format.

Sales Director Nigel Bennett explains: 'Many marketers still associate investment in CRM software and data analytics with spending huge amounts of money, only to end up with inflexible systems that are difficult to operate. This no longer holds true as Horizon Lite offers a data analysis tool that delivers real and usable insight which doesn't depend on a huge investment.'

Bennett adds that the tool has been designed for use by sales and marketing staff at SMEs that may not be able to invest in specially trained data analysts.
