PR Firm to Monitor Social Media

In New York, PR company MWW Group has launched a social media monitoring service to enable analysis of dialogue across the 'social web'.

The new D.insight is powered by Radian6's social media monitoring platform to give users access to real-time conversations on any chosen topic, as well as information about how to join and influence those discussions.

This platform mines information from across the social web, including blogs, video sharing sites, boards and forums including LinkedIn Answers, and emerging media such as FriendFeed and Twitter.

'Blogs, discussion groups, social media and other online properties play a powerful role in shaping the way consumers think about products and brands,' stated MWW Group President and CEO Michael Kempner. 'D.insight lets clients access that dialogue, learn from it and participate in it.'

Radian6 promises users access to specialized metrics that measure online engagement, sentiment, and quality of dialogue.
