Canadian Partners Round Out Retail Offer

March 24 2009

In Canada, Ipsos Reid has announced a deal with Tell Us About Us Inc. (TUAU) to better serve clients in the retail, restaurant, service and hospitality sectors. The deal adds TUAU's data collection and reporting engine the OnlineKMC™ to Ipsos' consulting expertise.

The OnlineKMC integrates data from online, interactive voice response (IVR), and mystery shopping onto one simple client interface.

The partners say traditional receipt driven programs give business managers volumes of data on a store, district and division basis, but often leave them an uphill struggle in interpreting and pulling out strategic insights. Ipsos' researchers will take the TUAU data and outline a roadmap for clients, giving them a better perspective on areas including the drivers of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Marketers, meanwhile, will be able to make more use of TUAU's customer experience measurement program, with deeper understanding of the demographics and psychographics of their customer base by category, department, need, brand, region, department and so on.

Gary Bennewies, President and Country Manager for Ipsos in Canada, says clients now have access to the best of both companies: 'TUAU's powerful store, district and divisional trend reports enriched by Ipsos' expertise in high level research consulting and questionnaire design for more actionable insight and advice.'

Tyler Gompf, CEO of TUAU adds: 'With Ipsos' insight, our store data collection can be leveraged to guide clients in prioritizing actions and focusing training programs and marketing investment.'
