In the US, LogicLab – a marketing analytics agency owned by database specialist Merkle – has hired Tony Sherman as Director of Product Operations, to oversee its software quality assurance, client support services and technology delivery platform.
LogicLab was launched last September to combine the quantitative disciplines of data-driven marketing and the media buying process of evaluating, optimizing and purchasing advertising.
Sherman joins with an international track record of implementing large-scale systems integration solutions and initiatives for numerous organizations. Most recently, he led a team of technology and production experts at Merkle. Prior to this, he worked with investment firm Charles Schwab to roll out international trading solutions, and helped health insurance firm Kaiser Permanente implement a systems integration solution that delivered electronic medical records to general practitioners’ desktops.
Earlier in his career, Sherman headed the technical arm of Network Security Services for the European Commission’s statistical office (EUROSTAT), and was a senior member of the team that implemented IBM Global Network’s EMEA-wide technology support solution.

Sherman will work out of the LogicLab office in Boston.
