iPOWOW! - which provides tools for gathering opinion through online video - has appointed one of its founders, film and TV producer Scott Ferguson, to its Board of Directors.
Sydney, Australia-based iPOWOW!’s research technology allows viewers to give their opinions and feedback on content in real-time via an online ‘voting’ interface. Last year, the firm expanded to the US with the opening of new headquarters in Silicon Valley.
Ferguson, an original founder and Board member of the company, re-joins the team with expertise in content production. His experience in media production spans three decades, including working at ABC in Sydney, TV AM in London and writing, producing and directing corporate videos, short films and documentaries.
Ferguson has also worked as a development producer for eyeworks, and through his own production company, Ghost Gum Media, he produced corporate communications pieces for the Department of Defence.
‘Scott’s depth of expertise in media production will be an incredible asset,’ states General Manager, APAC, Ettienne Fourie. ‘Our survey interface for online videos is a natural fit for broadcasters looking for deeper insight into their audiences’ preferences for content; and Scott will help guide our team in creating that content.’
