Global Betting and Gaming Consultants

Isle of Man-based Global Betting and Gaming Consultants (GBGC) has hired two analysts to help meet growing demand for gambling market research. Head of Research Lorien Pilling has also been appointed a director of the company.

Founded in 1998, GBGC is a specialist gambling consultancy offering data to support business planning and fundraising activity, specialist reports, e-gaming jurisdiction selection and licences, review of operational strategy and new product evaluation.

Michael Haile joins after three years working as a Senior Researcher for Censis, the economic and social study research institute based in Rome.

Additionally, Masha Mutic - a graduate from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia - joins the research team based in GBGC’s Zagreb office.

‘I am very pleased we have been able to add Michael and Masha to our company,’ states CEO, Warwick Bartlett. ‘By expanding our team we will have the additional capacity to keep abreast of the important developments in the sector and thereby continue to meet the needs of our clients in 2011.’

Pilling joined the firm in 2008 from The Gambit E-Gaming Forum, where he worked as a Reporter. Prior to this, he was a Researcher at bookmaker William Hill, and he began his career with a stint in the racing department at the BHG.
