mmr Research
In the UK, food and drink specialist mmr Research has welcomed back Phiala Mehring after a career break, as Sensory Manager. She was previously with mmr for nine years, having been one of the founding members of its Sensory team.
In her new role, Mehring will help set up the company’s Sensory Panel based at the Sensory Science Centre at Reading University. The panel will be designed to help clients understand how their products compare with those of their competitors. Sensory evaluations will range from packaging perceptions to product preparation; right through to appearance, smell, taste, flavour, texture, mouth /skin feel and aftertaste.
