Smarty Pants
Youth and family MR consultancy Smarty Pants has appointed Phil Underwood as Senior Director in its New York office.
Headquartered in Johnson City, TN, with offices in New York, Boston, San Diego, Chicago and Myrtle Beach, SC, Smarty Pants conducts research with kids, tweens, teens, parents and influencers to help guide brand positioning, product development and analysis of consumer lifestyle trends. Underwood (pictured) joins from MarketCast subsidiary Insight Strategy Group, where he worked for nearly seven years in the Insights Kids division. Prior to this, he worked for VisitBritain in NYC, managing all primary research across the Americas region, including qual and quant projects in the US, Canada, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina. Earlier in his career, he worked for VisitBritain as an Insight Consultant in NYC, having previously been an Analyst for VisitBritain in London.
