Smarty Pants

Ken Clark In the US, specialist youth and family research and consulting firm Smarty Pants has hired long-time Millward Brown exec Ken Clark for its newly created position of 'Insights Mastermind'.

Headquartered in Johnson City, TN, with offices in New York, Boston, San Diego, Chicago and Myrtle Beach, SC, Smarty Pants conducts research with kids, tweens, teens, parents and influencers to help guide brand positioning, product development and analysis of consumer lifestyle trends. Clark (pictured) joins with more than two decades of quant research and consumer insights experience. He began his career as an Assistant Research Executive at WPP-owned Millward Brown (now Kantar Millward Brown) in Connecticut, and stayed with the company for more than sixteen years; latterly in the role of VP Client Service, leading several key client accounts and managing a research team. He later worked for Decision Analyst as VP and Team Leader, Client Service, before joining Smarty Pants as a contractor last October.

In his new role, Clark directs quant research for several key media and technology clients. EVP Stephanie Retblatt comments: 'Ken has proven to be a dedicated client and project leader.
