Fabrice Otano Dentsu Aegis' media arm Carat has appointed Fabrice Otano as its first Global Chief Intelligence Officer, based in London.

Otano (pictured) joins from AccorHotels, where he served as SVP and Chief Data Officer, in charge of developing a data-driven culture across the group to increase top-line performance and profitability. Prior to this, he worked for Capgemini as VP, National Business Unit MD; Soft Computing as a Partner; Senior Manager at AT Kearney; and an Associate Consultant at Bossard Consultants.

In his new role, Otano will lead Dentsu Aegis Network agency's intelligence arm, which is made up of M1, a people-based data platform, and more than 4,500 data science, analytics and technology specialists. He will report to Carat's Global President, Christine Removille, who comments: 'Fabrice is a great addition to our Carat global leadership team and will work with talent from across the Dentsu Aegis Network to develop services that transform consumer and marketing data into insights that drive business outcomes.'
