Growth Focused Insights and Research (GFI Research)

Jill Rogers, Whitney Easton and Brenda Allen-Toon In the US, Growth Focused Insights and Research (GFI Research) has appointed Jill Rogers as a Senior Project Manager and Client Director, and Whitney Easton as a Senior Consultant, while Brenda Allen-Toon joins the team as a Board Advisor.

Launched last month by former Hertz insights exec John Huffman, GFI uses an 'on-demand' staffing model, assembling teams for each project based on type of business, industry and specific needs. Rogers (pictured, top) joins with more than 25 years’ MR experience. Most recently, she worked for True North Market Insights as Director Project Management, prior to which she served as Senior Logistics Manager at Decision Insight, and Senior Project Director at TNS. Her experience includes working with financial services, CPG, retail, beverages, telecoms, shopper marketing, category management and pharmaceutical companies.

Easton (middle picture) is an ethnographic market researcher, who focuses on understanding the context of how consumers and shoppers behave. Her practice fields include agriculture, retail, restaurants and tourism, and she also serves as Visiting Assistant Professor at Agnes Scott College.

Allen-Toon (below) joins the team after a career which has include senior research positons at Hallmark, Walmart, CapitalOne and Hannaford Supermarkets. She is currently Director of Insights and CRM for Sprouts Farmers Market, and Huffman says she brings a deep understanding of retail strategy, merchandising, and insights to the Board.
