Veriglif

Jonathan Ewert In New York, consumer data ecosystem Veriglif has given Jonathan Ewert a seat on its Board of Directors.

Launched in late 2018, Veriglif is built on the IBM Hyperledger private enterprise blockchain, through which all data stakeholders can connect and transact in order to maximize the value of their consumer data assets. Through this data network a single-source Universal ID is created for individuals based on their digital datagraph, to verify identity and allow for the linkage of related data at the individual level from any source globally. The firm is currently partnering with a number of consumer brands, tech and data companies, as well as research suppliers to create new revenue opportunities across the entire marketing services supply chain.

Ewert (pictured) joins the Board with an extensive background in the Internet marketing and advertising sectors. He is currently CEO of research and market intelligence solutions firm CapZone, before which, he was CEO of marketing services and events company Wellesley Information Services (recently acquired by JAZ'D!). Earlier, he was CEO of managed hosting services business APH (trading as Codero), and he held senior roles at search advertising and technology company Looksmart; education company ePals; and E-Commerce Solutions. In addition, he holds a number of Board positions and was previously a director at the IAB and Advisory Board member for Google Consumer Surveys.

James Wilson, Veriglif CEO, comments: 'Veriglif is on a mission to connect the world's data ecosystem in real-time. Given that Jonathan has served in executive leadership roles of multiple PE-backed companies in market intelligence, SaaS, Internet infrastructure, and digital media, his influence will be instrumental to us achieving our lofty goals.'
