TVision

Lynda Clarizio and Howard Shimmel In New York, television performance metrics provider TVision has added five new members to its Advisory Board, including former Nielsen and Turner Broadcasting execs Lynda Clarizio and Howard Shimmel.

The firm, which also has offices in Boston and Japan, offers an opt-in panel using privacy-focused hardware and software for passive monitoring of television viewing behavior and person-level measurement data, reported second-by-second. Earlier this week, it launched a solution to capture and measure second-by-second, person-level viewing behavior from streaming activity.

The new Advisory Board members are David Cohen, previous President of North America for IPG's MAGNA Global; Adam Gerber, Global President of Media at WPP's Essence; and Jay Altschuler, who is the former VP of Integrated Marketing at Samsung and previously led media efforts at Unilever. In addition, Clarizio, who was previously President of Nielsen US Media and Shimmel, Turner Broadcasting's former Chief Research Officer, join the Advisory Board to bring industry expertise and customer insight to TVision.

Company President Luke McGuinness comments: 'At TVision, we are helping advertisers measure and optimize in ways never before possible. We are honored that these industry leaders recognize how TVision is revolutionizing TV advertising and are excited to have them help guide our business'.
