Glow
In Australia, market research technology platform Glow has appointed long-time tech industry exec Lachlan Donald in an advisory role.
Melbourne-headquartered Glow, which was formed in 2013 by former PricewaterhouseCoopers director Tim Clover, provides real-time access to fourteen million people across Asia Pacific through a partnership with Dynata. Last year, the firm partnered with US-based NielsenIQ, to expand into North America.
Donald (pictured) is one of the founders of tech platform and digital services company 99designs. After multiple years running entirely on the company's own reinvested revenue, 99designs secured $35m in venture capitalist funding, for global expansion of the business. Donald then held CEO and COO positions for Buildkite, a developer tooling company, secured $28m in funding and drove the company to a valuation of more than $200m.
In his advisory role, Donald will focus on CTO leadership and scale-up as the firm continues to expand internationally. Clover comments: 'Lachlan can help us see around corners as we scale our tech and is hugely experienced in working with investment funding to support growth. We are thrilled to have him join the team as we accelerate our growth.'
