Atigeo
In the US, data intelligence technology provider Atigeo has appointed Dr. Oliver Downs as Chief Scientist, to spearhead its research and development efforts in areas such as predictive modeling for understanding and predicting human behaviour.
Downs joins from Mindset Media, where he served as Chief Scientist, overseeing the architecture and development of a web-based predictive analytics platform that enabled ad targeting to Internet users based on their individual psychographics. Prior to this, Downs served as Principal Scientist for Microsoft Research spin-off INRIX, where he provided real-time traffic information.
He is a graduate of Princeton University holding PhD and MA degrees in Applied and Computational Mathematics. He also holds BA, MA and MSc degrees in Experimental and Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge, UK.
