Pioneer Consulting
US telecoms market research and consulting firm Pioneer Consulting has hired Pedro Delgado as Director of Business Development, Adam Markow as Lead Systems Engineer, and Melissa Udbinac as Market Intelligence Analyst and Technical Writer/Editor.
Delgado brings more than thirty years of telecoms industry experience to the firm. Based out of Puerto Rico, he will be focused on the Caribbean and Latin American markets, where his responsibilities will involve sales generation, customer relation management, proposal generation and contract negotiation.
In addition to being a qualified Electrical Engineer, Delgado has filled a number of operational posts with companies such as Ultracom, Telefonica Larga Distancia (PR), ITT Communication Services and PRTC.
Markow joins with a 22-year career in telecoms. He began his career at the Undersea Lightwave System Integration and Design Group of AT&T Bell Laboratories, and later worked at Tyco Submarine Systems, Global Crossing, and the David Ross Group.
After nearly 30 years of research, project management and international marketing and communications for the Pentagon, Colorado State University, US Trade and Development Agency, the Department of Health and Human Services and the American Forces Network-Europe, Udbinac now assumes responsibility for Pioneer's market research capability. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland's, University College with a BS in Communication and a minor in Management.
