Jamie Brown, formerly Director of Statistical Methodology at AC Nielsen, has joined [x+1], a firm which advises clients on maximising online marketing ROI, in the new role of VP, Optimization & Analytics.

He will lead a technical team responsible for the development of advanced analytics for the company’s statistical modeling methodology, the Progressive Optimization Engine (POE™).

Brown has more than twenty years’ experience in the development and management of statistical data modeling and technical programming for large scale database marketing, and the integration of on-line and off-line data sources. As well as Nielsen, he has worked for companies including Publishers Clearing House, CBS Broadcasting, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New York. He has an MS degree in Statistics from Rutgers University and a BS in Mathematics from Polytechnic University.
