In the US, social media marketing firm Spring Creek Group has hired web analytics professional Xavier Jiménez as Principal and Practice Lead for Web Analytics and Measurement.
Most recently Jiménez ran web analytics consultancy Arete Analytics, where he drove online experience planning, new media measurement and online marketing strategy using innovations in web analytics. Prior to this, he held senior marketing and strategy positions with Publicis, Photoworks, Real Networks, aQuantive and UBid.com. He has a BA in Philosophy from Rockford College.
In his new role, Jiménez is tasked with tracking, cataloging and measuring the performance of clients’ social web activities, including online video, mobile advertising, widgets, blogs, social networks, and other user generated content.
