ThinkVine Taps Analytics Leader

ThinkVine, which helps clients align marketing and advertising with consumer behaviour, has appointed former Ipsos VP Curt Stenger to lead its Analytic Services practice.

Curt StengerStenger joins with 20 years' advanced analytics and management experience. For the past five years, he has served as VP Analytics for the Ipsos-Insight Consumer Products division, where he led the Marketing Science and Forecasting department. In this role, he was recently involved in the launch of two new brand research tools to help clients build, maintain, and grow successful brands.

Prior to this, Stenger managed Research International's Marketing Sciences resources, and held senior roles at Pert Survey Research, Market Data Corporation and Harris Research Associates. He has an MSc in Statistics from the University of Chicago, an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, and a BA in Economics from Northwestern University, and is a member of the American Marketing Association, the Institute for Operations Research, and is a former trustee of the Marketing Science Institute.

'Curt is a proven leader and a strategic selection to support our growth,' states ThinkVine's Founder and CEO Damon Ragusa. 'Given his track record, I would expect that he will make immediate contributions to the business.'

Launched in 1999, Cincinnati, Ohio-based ThinkVine offers marketing science techniques, including choice modeling, econometrics, and demand forecasting. The firm recently secured $1.85m in Series B financing which it plans to use to double its staff and begin to market its technology internationally.
