Omniture Opens Second Australian Office

Neil Weston Web analytics firm Omniture has opened a new office in Melbourne, taking the number of locations it has in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region to eight.

The company already has bases in Beijing, Hong Kong, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, Taiwan and Tokyo. According to the firm, this latest venture will provide an opportunity for growth with public, private and government clients.

'Omniture is committed to customer success in the APAC region, demonstrated by our continued investment in local sales offices, training and education,' stated Neil Weston, SVP and General Manager of APAC. 'There is a growing demand for digital marketing in the region, and we are well positioned to provide online marketers with the skills and technologies they need to be successful.'

Last year, marcoms giant WPP invested $25m in Omniture, since when, the firms have jointly created a platform, through which clients can see how their online and offline activities impact on one another.

Separately, the company has today announced that its Omniture Discover OnPremise tool has been re-branded as Omniture Insight, and now enables users to load and analyze any structured data, offers unlimited segmentation and filtering, and provides visualization to make data and trends easier to understand.
