IRI Makes Senior Hires for Innovation Unit

Retail analytics giant Information Resources, Inc. (IRI) has hired Krishnakumar (KK) S. Davey, Ph.D. and Ed See as senior partners for its Consulting & Innovation practice.

Ed See and Dr Krishnakumar (KK) S. DaveyThe two will lead growth initiatives and lead key client accounts within the practice, with a focus on developing deeper relationships and developing and applying next generation analytic marketing capabilities.

Davey brings more than 22 years' experience at leading consulting, media and research firms in the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia. He was previously a partner at Oliver Wyman, and prior to this was the General Manager at WPP's Grey Global Group and MediaCom, where he built the Marketing ROI Practice. Prior to that, he worked in the marketing consulting practices at Knowledge Networks, McKinsey & Company, AC Nielsen, ORC, and MRAS/Burke. He holds a Ph.D. in marketing modeling from Vanderbilt University.

See has 25 years of experience, most recently as President and COO of Marketing Management Analytics (MMA), overseeing the development of its marketing analytics program. Before this he was a partner at Andersen Business Consulting and served as a leader in its Internet marketing practice. He then became a global MD at BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting). He began his career with a 15-year stint at IBM in a variety of leadership and senior management positions. He holds a master's degree with a specialization in human-computer interaction from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. He is also the former President of STC, a 25,000-member international professional society in communications, usability and Web design.
