Definitive Insights Opens Doors in the US

A new quant/qual research and consultancy services firm called Definitive Insights has been founded by a group of executives who previously worked together at agencies such as Nielsen, RI, SPSS, Knowledge Networks, Hall and Partners and Martin-Hamblin-GfK.

Doss StruseManaging Partners include Doss Struse, David Lineweber, Brian Cavoto, Ben Kim-Gervey and Dave Whitlock. They are joined by Partners Scott Perretta, Meredith Lind, Sabrina Lomeu and Agnish Chakravarti, who are supported by additional research directors, managers and specialists.

From its offices in Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington, the firm offers a full range of quant and qual services, along with expertise in business strategy, business intelligence and custom market research.

'At Definitive Insights, we integrate industry knowledge and innovative thinking with cutting edge research design, measurement and analytic methods,' explained Struse. 'We will fill a major gap in the market intelligence space by delivering insights and tools that help managers plan and make both strategic and tactical decisions - with a focus on tangible, financial-based implications and outcomes.'

Prior to setting up the firm, Struse was CEO at Momentum Market Intelligence, held senior roles at Knowledge Networks, Research International (RI), and ACNielsen, and worked clients side at General Mills, Carnation/Nestle and Oscar Mayer.

The new firm specializes in the energy, financial services, IT, utilities and pharma markets.
