Customer Insight Tool Sold to Drinks Co.

UK-based GuestTek International has sold its 360° customer insight tool GuestMetrics to the Shot Spirits Corporation in the US for $5m of the drinks company's shares.

David LovattGuestMetrics can be integrated with point-of-sale systems, and through its data mining process, it provides alcohol and food suppliers with insight into consumer behaviour.

Last week, GuestMetrics was acquired by David Lovatt, who then set up GuestTek as a holding company.

As part of the deal, GuestTek will retain the right to market and sell GuestMetrics' products, and will receive 25% of all net revenue generated from software sales.

'GuestMetrics has an exciting product with a great track record and I look forward to helping them reach new levels in the sales of their products and services,' stated Lovatt. 'I strongly believe that the relationship with Shot Spirits will be beneficial to both GuestTek and our shareholders.'

Former GuestTek International CEO Brian Barrett and COO Tammy Posten have resigned from the Board of Directors, but will support the sale of GuestMetrics' software globally.
