MRA Opens Voting for New Board
In the US, MRA (the Marketing Research Association) has announced nine candidates for five positions on its Board of Directors, and opened the ballot.
MRA members can vote by paper ballot found in their March issue of MRA's Alert! Magazine, or via proxy ballot online.
Three 'Director At Large - Researcher' seats and two 'Director At Large - End User' seats are available. Nominations for the seats are:
Director At Large - Researcher- Scott Baker - EVP, Adept Consumer Testing
- Michael Halberstam - President, Interviewing Service of America
- Vaughn Mordecai - President, Discovery Research Group
- Melissa Pepper - CSO, Tammadge Market Research
- Kathy Pilhuj - SVP, Data Collection and Production, Scarborough Research
- Beth Teehan - EVP, TNS NA Operations.
Director At Large - End User- Kathy Frankovic - Consultant, CBS News - Election & Survey Unit
- Cathy Scott - Kimberly-Clark Corporation
- Dan Womack - Aflac.
Voting closes at 6:00 p.m. ET on April 1, 2010.
Elisa Galloway, President of Galloway Research Service will serve as MRA's 2010-2011 President.
Joining Galloway will be President-Elect, Ken Roberts, PRC, President, Cooper Roberts Research; Treasurer, Kevin Lonnie, PRC, President, KL Communications; and Secretary, Jill Donahue, Brand Insights Manager, Nestle Purina.
