SiriusDecisions Expands to London

US marketing research, data and advisory firm SiriusDecisions has opened an office in the UK, where it has transferred VP of Sales Georgie Donahue to take on responsibility for building the firm's client base in the EMEA region.

Wilton, CT-based SiriusDecisions, which was founded by Gartner veterans John Neeson and Richard Eldh, offers B2B research and data, along with consulting and benchmarking services.

The firm has now opened an office in London, where it has re-located Donahue to take up the role of Regional Vice President of SiriusDecisions Europe.

'Georgie was the perfect choice to take on this major new challenge, as she is the type of leader who quickly earns the respect of both clients and peers,' explained Eldh. 'Since joining our company over eight years ago, she has consistently exceeded our expectations; we have no doubt that she will build the business in a quality way throughout Europe.'

Along with geographic expansion, the firm has strengthened its analyst team with the appointment of Jay Gaines and Marisa Kopec as Research and Service Directors, respectively. The company has also promoted Megan Heuer to the position of Service Director of its Marketing Operations Strategies (MOS) offering.

Prior to joining, Gaines served as CMO at B2B information firm EDR, where he led all marketing, communications, market research and events activities. He was previously VP of Online Marketing and Privacy at META Group.

Following 12 years with Gartner, most recently as a Managing VP and Product Marketing Leader for the High-Tech and Telecom Programs business unit, Kopec joins SiriusDecisions to lead the firm's Product Marketing and Management (PMM) service.

Heuer joined the company in 2008, having previously worked as a Consultant for customer loyalty solutions firm Satmetrix Systems, relationship marketing specialist Peppers and Rogers Group (PRG), and Gartner.
