AIP Rolls Out Panels in India and Vietnam

Tokyo-based online sampling and data collection firm AIP Corporation has launched proprietary, research-only online panels in India and Vietnam.

AIP currently operates 11 proprietary online panels across Asia, and plans to continue its expansion in the Asian markets by launching new panels in the coming months.

The firm says the two new panels have been rolled out in response to clients' requirements to access data on the new and growing affluent middle class, as well as the online consumer population in these Asian markets.

Panel size in India is expected to reach 5,000 while in Vietnam, the panel should comprise 2,000 members by June 2010.

'We are delighted to contribute to the growth of these two markets by delivering market intelligence through the contribution of the newest members to the AIP family,' stated EVP Roy Kimura.

Last year, online research firm Macromill sold a 55.4% stake in AIP Corporation to Mizuho Capital, while keeping a minority stake in the business.
