Nunwood Buys David Conway Consultancy

Fast-growing UK-based agency Nunwood has acquired customer and employee research specialist The David Conway Consultancy, and appointed the firm's founder to its Board. Terms were not disclosed.

David ConwayAs part of the deal David Conway, who founded the consultancy in 2001, joins Nunwood as Strategic Director, responsible for developing the firm's customer experience management (CEM) service to demonstrate the link between employee engagement and customer satisfaction.

An expert in CEM, strategic organisational development and business transformation, Conway previously held senior marketing positions at The Co-operative Bank, Liverpool Victoria Group and N&P Building Society.

Nunwood says the acquisition of his consultancy will strengthen its consultative and 'activation' services, including its recently launched CEM service, which combines multi-channel insight with advanced analytics to enable clients to forecast financial paybacks from performance changes.

Separately, Nunwood has rolled out a new approach centred on the idiom of 'Insight, Analytics, Activation', which it says will position 'full service insight' as one part of what the agency offers.

'While the research industry can be very good at delivering genuine insight, it often fails to turn it into actionable solutions,' explained CEO Clare Bruce. 'We want to answer the 'so what, why and what next?' for our clients; redefining the current, outdated industry model to deliver commercial advice, clear direction and better links to profitable action.'
