Nielsen Appoints Former AOL Insights Director

In the UK, Nielsen has appointed AOL Europe's former Director of Insights and Sales Strategy Andrew Bradford, as a new member of its European online division.

Andrew BradfordBradford joined AOL in 2003 as Head of Operational Strategy, responsible for futures, sales strategy, and research and analysis. After a stint working as Transition Manager for Regional Sales, he moved to the insight role, where he was tasked with supporting decision making throughout the business.

Prior to AOL, Bradford held senior research, analyst and sales roles at Cedar Communications, IPC Media, Chrysalis Radio and Southern FM.

In his new position as Vice President, Client Consulting, Media EMEA, Bradford will report to Louise Ainsworth, the region's MD of Online & Advertiser Solutions.

'Andrew stands out as a leader in the industry, and is someone whom we have enjoyed working with as a client for some years,' states Ainsworth. 'I am delighted to be able to welcome him to the team.'
